Lena Sellgren
Chief Economist and Head of Research
Mrs. Sellgren is Chief Economist and Head of Research at Business Sweden, where she supports Swedish companies’ international growth and helps foreign firms invest in Sweden. With a background as Chief Analyst at Nordea Markets and extensive experience in the Swedish Ministry of Finance, she has served in roles that involve tax policy, economic research, and public finance. She has participated in EU and OECD negotiations, advised several public and economic councils, and currently chairs the Advisory Board for Economic Statistics at Statistics Sweden. She is also a columnist for Handelsblatt and holds degrees in Economics from Lund University and the Stockholm School of Economics, as well as Civil Engineering in Urban Planning.
