Gunnar Strömmer

Gunnar Strömmer, a member of Sweden's Moderate Party, has been serving as Minister for Justice since October 2022 under Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson. In this role, he has focused on combating organized crime and strengthening the rule of law, reflecting growing concerns about public safety in Sweden. Previously, he was the Secretary-General of the Moderate Party (2017–2022), where he played a key role in shaping party strategies and policy​.
