AmCham Sweden, in partnership with AmCham Denmark and the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) is pleased to invite security professionals to a webinar focusing on employee training & response in the case of an Active Shooter Event (ASE) in the workplace.

U.S. Department of State’s Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC) keeps organizations and personnel operating safely abroad by connecting private-sector security professionals with the Diplomatic Security Service through ongoing risk awareness.

There has been a sharp rise in active shooter incidences in the past few years, in the USA, but also globally and most recently in Denmark and Sweden. Business leaders around the globe are now starting the consider how to prepare their organizations in the case of an active shooter on the business premises.

During this event we will hear from Joseph Grey, Special Agent with U.S. Homeland Security Investigations about how to recognize, prepare, train and lead your employees in the case of an active shooter threat.

Additionally, we will hear from executives at Volvo and Fujifilm Diosynth Biotechnologies on how they are responding to this threat within their own organizations.

About Special Agent Joe Grey
Joseph Grey has been a Special Agent with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) since 2007 and has been a certified member of the HSI Tampa Special Response Team (SRT) for over 15 years where he has planned, led and executed hundreds of high risk operations including warrant service, surveillance, fugitive recovery and undercover operations involving targets with significant violent criminal histories.  As a member of the SRT, he has also been responsible for providing intensive tactical and active shooter training to federal personnel as a part of the agency’s national effort to raise awareness and readiness of both civilian and law enforcement employees.
