  • Hilton Stockholm Slussen Guldgränd 8 104 65 Stockholm Sweden (map)

Swedish Tech-Alliance and AmCham Sweden are pleased to invite you to a Transatlantic TechTalk.

As the U.S. presidential election approaches, transatlantic cooperation remains more important than ever. Regardless of the election's outcome, the European Union and the United States must continue their efforts to strengthen digital trade relations, ensuring that shared economic and security interests are addressed.

Join us for a deep dive into these issues, where the Swedish National Board of Trade (Kommerskollegium) will present their new report, which highlights the significance of continuing negotiations for a digital trade agreement between the EU and U.S. The report also outlines potential ways forward for transatlantic digital integration which could contribute to the EU's economic security and competitiveness goals.

Speakers include:

  • Håkan Jevrell, State Secretary for Trade, Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Sweden

  • Marianne Drain, Senior Commercial Officer, U.S. Embassy

  • Hannes Berggren, Swedish National Board of Trade

  • Frida Orring, Government Affairs Director, Microsoft
