EU-U.S. Trade and Technology Council launches Futurium

On October 18, the European Commission launched an online consultation platform where stakeholders can share their views and proposals for the continuation of the Trade and Technology Council (TTC). The platform is called Futurium and is based on the joint EU-U.S. commitment to consult with stakeholders on technology, economic, and trade issues.

Futurium is open to everyone, and the Commission has asked businesses, think tanks, academia, and civil society organizations, among others to contribute by sharing their opinions and ideas. The TTC consists of 10 Working groups ranging from Technology Standards; Climate and Clean Tech; Security and Competitiveness; Investment Screenings; and Promotion of SMEs. The range of the working groups allows for multiple actors to share their opinions about how the future of the transatlantic trade and technology relationship should continue.

AmCham Sweden is ready to engage with our members in voicing their concerns and ideas on these issues.
