Dr. Marek Reuter, Assistant Professor, Stockholm School of Economics
Dr. Reuter is an Assistant Professor at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) and Affiliated Researcher at the ‘Mistra Center for Sustainable Markets’ (MISUM) at SSE. He earned his PhD at the University of Innsbruck and has held visiting positions and taught at HEC Paris and the Turku School of Economics.
Dr. Reuter’s research addresses the institutionalization of Social and Environmental Accounting and Control practices and frameworks. He has published on current regulatory developments in areas such as Climate-related Financial Disclosures or Integrated Reporting and the organizational implementation of sustainability control practices in leading corporations in the Chemical, Renewable Energy, or Textile and Apparel sectors. Dr. Reuter’s research has been recognized with awards, for example, from the Hellenius Wallander Foundation and the Center for Social and Environmental Accounting Research (CSEAR).

Marianne Drain is a career Foreign Service Officer, representing the U.S. Department of Commerce as the Senior Commercial Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Stockholm since September 2022. Marianne is one of over 200 officers around the world dedicated to assisting American business interests, while working as a part of the U.S. Embassy’s Mission.
Marianne has previously worked in this role while stationed in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; the U.S. Mission to the European Union in Brussels; Budapest, Hungary; and New Delhi, India, as well as offices in Chicago and Washington, D.C.
Erik Savola,

Erik Savola joined Citi in 2002 and moved to the Nordics in 2022. Previously, Erik was the Co-Head of EMEA region for BCMA Industrials, serving as the senior banker covering some of Citi’s largest and most complex industrial clients.
Erik is a Business Senior Credit Officer and has held several risk management roles in New York, London, Singapore and Hong Kong. He has also served as a corporate banker covering Citi’s global relationships in the Consumer and Leisure sectors.
In addition to his role as an industry head, Erik has been actively involved in shaping Citi’s junior talent strategy from recruiting to training and coaching.
He majored in Organizational Behavior and holds a Master’s Degree in International Business from the Helsinki School of Economics and London School of Economics.

Pernilla has deep experience in EU affairs, public-private partnerships and policy advising, as well as from working on complex strategic policy issues in the field of financial services, international development cooperation, climate, infrastructure and trade. She has worked with senior executive teams in national and global capacities to improve processes, develop new business opportunities, manage change and drive results.

Mathias Wikström is a Sweden-based renowned sustainability business leader and creative strategist who founded Doconomy together with Johan Pihl and has spearheaded globally awarded forefront projects in Finance, Sustainability and Human Rights. Mathias received an EMBA with honors at the Stockholm School of Economics with a focus on Leading Innovation.
Mathias has won several Grand Prix at Cannes Lions and served on many award juries, as President for Innovation in Eurobest, amongst others. He is a high scoring speaker at industry summits in Europe, U.S., Asia and Latin America, as well as with the UN and UNFCCC.
