On Tuesday, November 8, voters across the U.S. will cast their ballots for the midterm elections. All 435 seats in the House of Representatives and 35 seats in the Senate will be contested. The Democrats currently enjoy a slim margin in Congress and the Senate is evenly split with U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris holding a tie-breaking vote. The outcome of the elections will have a tremendous impact on the second half of U.S. President Biden's agenda.
Please join us for a special two-part Brown Bag Lunch & Learn program as the fundamentals of the U.S. midterm election process is explained, and the races are analyzed both before and after voting takes place.
If you are attending in person, please arrive at 11:30 CET to enjoy lunch provided by the program partners. The moderated discussion is hybrid, and will begin at 12:00 CET for both in person and online attendees.
