Mattias Frumerie, Head of Delegation to UNFCCC, Ministry for Climate and Enterprise

With 20+ years' experience in working as a diplomat, Mattias Frumerie has had several roles within the Swedish Foreign service, from postings in Budapest and Brussels to heading up strategic communications, EU single market and EU policy, as well as serving as EU adviser in the Prime Minister's Office.

Mattias Frumerie is enthusiastically engaged in the transition to climate-smart societies globally and climate diplomacy to increase the ambition of implementing the Paris Agreement. Mattias is co-leading elaboration of UNFCCC report in order to determine the needs of developing countries to implement the Paris Agreement.

In her current role as EVP Sustainability at Polarium represented in the management team, Karin oversees the sustainability strategy and integration ultimately enabling Polarium to reach its vision to become a leading, sustainable, fully integrated energy solutions provider.

Mats is Head of Sustainability at Ericsson with responsibility for climate action, circular economy, energy performance as well as product portfolio aspects of digital inclusion and triple bottom line impact of products, services, and company operations. During mats leadership the company has set and finalized first generation of targets approved by the Science Based Target initiative to be on a 1.5°C trajectory. Mats is representing Ericsson in various boards and advisory roles such as the CEO Alliance and WEF CEO Climate Leaders senior advisors’ group.
