AmCham Sweden cordially invites you hear from two top U.S. security experts, Bob Jensen and Mark Pfeifle, who will share their knowledge and experience on how organizations can successfully navigate moments of crisis through effective and efficient communication.

Bob Jensen

Senior Managing Director at Strat3 LLC

Senior strategy, risk, crisis and disaster management and communications executive with extensive leadership experience at the national and international level. Effective leader and manager who led global teams up to 2,500 strong in multiple disciplines and locations, managed multi-million dollar operational budgets and directed large-scale projects from ideation to completion. From strategic vision to tactical execution, the U.S. Government's go-to crisis communications executive with demonstrated success and results for the toughest assignments in challenging environments. Deployed four times to combat zones, led communication efforts for major disaster responses including Hurricanes Ike and Sandy, 2010 Haiti earthquake and Deepwater Horizon. Internationally recognized leader in crisis and disaster response communications, risk and crisis management. Has consulted with foreign governments and major global corporations, and presented extensively at conferences worldwide.

Mark Pfeifle

As White House Dep. National Security Advisor for Strategic Communications and Global Outreach, Mark Pfeifle led the successful communication effort to promote President Bush's “surge” of U.S. forces into Iraq and international communication initiatives to de-legitimize al Qaeda. During his White House service, Pfeifle was awarded the Army’s Outstanding Civilian Service Award for “dramatically improved communication planning and strategies...in support of the Global War on Terror.” 

From 2001 to 2004, as press secretary and later as communications director for the Secretary of the Department of Interior, Pfeifle created messaging to pass energy and conservation legislation and pro-environmental policies such as the president’s Healthy Forest Initiative. 

As Director of Communications for the 2004 Republican National Convention, Pfeifle was awarded the prestigious Pollie Award for Best Overall Internet Campaign and the Silver Award for Best Use of a Website for Persuasion. He is an accomplished public speaker whose expertise includes national security, energy policy, emerging technologies, and communications strategies. He has been an invited guest at some of the most prestigious venues in the world including the Oxford Union Society, Westminster Palace's House of Lords and the United States Congress. 

Today, Mark Pfeifle leads a team of top media and communications strategists in the service of his corporate, nonprofit and government clients.
