Transatlantic tech-talk - what can the TTC deliver for businesses? Hosted by Swedish Tech-Alliance and AmCham Sweden

In June 2021, President von der Leyen and President Biden established the U.S.-EU Trade and Technology Council (TTC). The TTC and its working groups have addressed global trade and technology challenges such as standards, data governance, research, and security.

The transatlantic tech-talk will take stock of the progress made and look at future challenges and opportunities for the U.S.-EU dialogue on tech. What are the lessons learned so far, what can the TTC deliver for businesses, and what can we expect from the TTC meeting in Sweden?

Confirmed speakers include,

  • Erik D. Ramanathan, U.S. Ambassador to Sweden

  • Veronika Wand Danielsson, Head of Europe and North America Department, Ministry for Foreign Affairs

  • Rupert Schlegelmilch,  European Commission, Director DG Trade and coordinator for EU-US TTC in DG Trade

  • Gülfem Toygar, Country Manager Amazon, Sweden

  • Magnus Schöldtz, Senior Advisor Wallenberg Office

Moderated by Magnus Norman, Swedish Tech-Alliance
